Multimedia Information Center
Morrow, Ga

FDG provided services to convert an existing lecture hall into a state-of-the-art multimedia center.  Built in the early 1970’s, the circular building featured wedge-shaped lecture rooms and sloped floors with tablet arm chairs bolted to the slabs.  The facility demonstrated the dominating prototype design influenced by the Educational Facilities Laboratories publications and built in many educational settings.

Our project team re-designed the lecture hall, converting the outmoded educational systems into a modernized facility with sufficient work space.  The contemporary design serves to improve the spatial alignment of teacher to classroom orientation and provides updated presentation and communications systems.

All work was performed in phases so as to inhibit disruption to ongoing classes.
