SUSTAINABILITY
Our Commitment to LEED and Sustainable Design.
FDG is committed to promoting a “greener” approach to the world. In addition to establishing earth-friendly initiatives within our company, we are leaders in the field of green design. FDG has practiced sustainable design in our projects for more than 25 years, long before it became a “buzz word.” Many of our projects have incorporated sustainable, environmentally sensitive design features such as natural lighting, green roofs, energy efficient heating and cooling systems, and recycled materials.
Our firm’s commitment to improving the built environment extends to ensuring that our projects do not negatively impact the natural world. We have a record of including sustainable design principles in our projects, from simple energy efficiency and life-cycle cost guidelines, to full LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification.
